Today I happened to notice that Gehn's ink stand on 233 has some D'ni written on it. With some squinting, I can tentatively read "votahrteeah relem", repeating without punctuation around its base. I can't find it in Khrees's dictionary, or indeed anywhere. Does anyone know what it says? Have I discovered something new?

That translates to "praise(pl.imperative) the ink". It does seem to be a new inscription. I need to check this out.

Edit: Yup, there's writing there, but I can't make it out. The recording is too grainy.

If you have Riven Image Viewer, open o_Data.MHK and check out 40_ooffice.43 and 41_ooffice.32, in which you can see "[t/ah] relem vot" and "[l]em votahrt[i/ee][ah]". I can't actually see the diacritic on the "ee", but I figured the attested "votahrteeah" would be more likely than the phonotactically unusual "votahrtiah".

Ah yes, I can see that now.
