Hello folks. Just joined up. I used to study D'ni with the new-defunct Fellowship but have been out of practice for a few years.

Anyway, I've a phrase I want to translate, but I'm nore sure if I've got it right, mostly due to the D'ni having several variations of "of". So, the phrase I'm trying to translate is "Book of Jounreys". What I have thus far is

kor t'lehnah

or

korokh lehnah

I'm not sure which of these - if either- is correct. Also, am I right in thinking the plural for "journeyS" is implied in D'ni? I couldn't find any rule or changing it to a plural.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd recommend korokh lehnahtee.

X te Y would mean that X is a member of Y, while okh is more general in its meaning.  So we have korokh jimah 'book of prophecy' and rekor (oshahnin) okh pahtstee (oglahn) 'the (lost) book of (ancient) cities" (whatever exactly that means).

How would you translate “see you again”?

On instinct, one could say b’yim šem(tí ) preniv.

But there are alternatives to consider, like se-yimet set preniv (”until we see us again” ), or even se-yim-preniv-tav (”until the meet-again” ).

I think a fairly literal rendition would fit the D'ni style.
